Welcome to Project Mesa (“we”, “our”, or “us”). By accessing or using our official software, website, or hosted infrastructure (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”).

3. End-to-End Encryption Disclaimer

Our messenger employs end-to-end encryption. Message contents are encrypted on the client and are not accessible to us. However, we may process metadata such as timestamps and IP addresses for operational and security purposes.

4. Federation and Third-Party Servers

Project Mesa supports a federated network model. Users may connect to third-party self-hosted servers. We are not responsible for the behavior, content, or policies of external instances.

5. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our official infrastructure at our discretion, especially in cases of policy violations or legal obligations.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all liability for damages or data loss arising from use of the Service or third-party federated servers.

7. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
